Update:

The Tulsa, Oklahoma round of the 2010 AX series (round 2 of the lites west series) is in the books and was an exciting one for the GPF riders.  The track was tight and tore up which separated the top guys quickly.   
 
Dano Aulseybrook, who is competing in the lites east, pulled the holeshot in the lites main and pulled a quick gap on the field.  Dano looked to be in control of the race until he came up on some heavy traffic around lap 9.  After running into the back of a lapper he was unable to clear the finish line jump and fell back to 2nd.  A few corners later 3rd place rider, Cory Green, made an ugly pass taking out Dano.  He took a while to get remounted as he was tangled in the tough blocks and finished 12th.  Dano showed he was the fastest guy on the track just a few costly mistakes and a little bad luck cost him the win.
 
Our Lites west rider AJ Catanzaro continued his solid and consistent riding in Tulsa.  AJ started in the top 5 and battled with the leaders for most of the race before arm pump got the best of him.  AJ decided to be smart and settle for 3rd and salvage his position in points.  A veteran type decision by the rookie 16 year old from Connecticut.  He is currently tied for the Lites west points lead with Cory Green.  
 
The series heads back east now to Youngstown, Ohio where there will be 2 nights of racing.  As always, thanks to all of our sponsors.

About Us:

Georgia Practice Facilty is a private training/riding compound in south Georgia.  We have young riders from all over the country, Canada, and a few from overseas that all have the goal of becoming professional motocrossers someday.  We have full campground type set up with over 30 full hook up spots as well as a few cabins and apts. for rental.  We have 4 tracks.  A large pro caliber Motocross track, Full scale Supercross track built by Mark Barnett, and 2 Arenacross tracks.  Our team takes a few of these riders that need help making that step from amateur to the pro ranks each year and helps them in the AMA Arenacross series with practice bike, race bike, transportation and entry fees that are top quality and capable of winning.

How we have obtained and promoted sponsors past and present:
Most sponsorships were landed through relationships I had built with companies when I was racing proffessionally a few years ago. A lot of phone calls and e-mails. We take care of our sponsors by always making sure they have signage on our bikes, pit area displays and on our transporter. Also, give weekly updates via e-mail to all our sponsors to keep them in the loop on how things went.
Why we are good candidates for sponsorship:
We have won lites championships in the AMA arenacross series the past 2 seasons and currently have 2 riders in title contention for 2010 lites championships. We have a clean cut well run program and have done so on an extremely tight budget.

Our goals for our sponsors:
To represent all of our sponsors to the best of our ability and promote their products or services on and off the race track.
