Finished 3rd in the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals from 25th starting spot. I had a two weekend tour of Western Australia, running 2 nights in Perth and 2 nights in Bunbury. Finished 4th on the final night.

About Me:

Grew up in a racing family, and just never did anything else but race.  I started when I was 15 driving a family car and just continued from there. I have a pilots license that is not active just due to not having the time for it.  Play a little golf, do a little fishing when I can.  

Stood on the podium with my son after he won the Chili Bowl Nationals where I finished 3rd.  It was very special for my entire family.

Racing Career Highlights/History:

They say I have over 600 wins, but if you count all the ones when I started racing locally, it is probably more like 800. The back to back World of Outlaw Championships in 1981 & 1982, then winning again in 1997. I have been able to drive many types of cars over the years, and have enjoyed every one of them.

I still love to win races. It's what it's all about.

How I have obtained and promoted my sponsors past and present:
Swindell Motorsports had one of the longest running sponsorships on the World of Outlaws series when we proudly displayed CHANNELLOCK for 7 years. Their trademark blue became our trademark. Cars, trailers, pit equipment, uniforms, everything we had was branded with the CHANNELLOCK bowtie logo. It was a family owned and run company and we treated them as part of our family. We did company events, plant tours, meet and greets with employees who traveled by the bus load to come to our race. Track side sales of merchandise that were carrying the CHANNELLOCK logos was always available to the fans. They were a great company to have as our sponsor and friends.
Why I am a good candidate for sponsorship:
I have owned my own business, Swindell Motorsports, for 22 years. We race out of a 10,000 shop that is fully equipped with machine shop, prep areas, and inside parking for the tow vehicles. We are able to offer a sponsor everything that is needed to run a first class team. My reputation for perfection and beautifully prepared equipment is something I am very proud of.
My goals for my sponsors:
Sponsor deserve 100% effort to win each race that is run. It's the only way I have ever raced and will continue to do so.
